Laser
As competition between wood processing companies increases, quality of order execution is becoming increasingly important. As technology evolves, it has been started to use lasers in various fields more and more often. Line lasers have become an integral part of modern wood processing industry. A special generator in laser converts beam into line, which shows the path of the saw on raw material of wood. The operator controls cutting according to that line. This reduces the probable errors in cutting, the process of cutting becomes more accurate, leading to the increased productivity and reduced defects.
Observing the cutting of multi-knife machine, we can see the level of precision of saw cutting, in the place where it had to be cut. Entered the bark from one side, the saw sometimes cuts even more than a centimetre of timber on the other side. For example, when cutting logs, a lot of good wood is thrown away, because the last balk is not enough half a centimetre, because the first plank was left for more than had.
If you cut raw material of 6 m in length with multi-knife machine ‘on eye’ and inaccuracy is a total of only 10 mm, then the operator works very accurately. But such accuracy means that the raw material from which you were able to cut a plank of 200 mm wide, you cut only 190 mm. A little calculation helps you to realize that with such a ‘precision’, you loose a lot. In order to make your work more efficient and more accurate, we offer linear lasers, advice and help to install into manufacturing.
